‎I was sabotaged in the industry—Rose Adjei

Date:

Talented Gospel Songstress, Rose Adjei has disclosed that some people within the industry sabotaged her to ensure she remained underground.

‎According to her, after hitting the limelight with a chat topping track “Nyame Ye” things took a u-turn in her career.

‎Speaking in an exclusive interview with Max Drive in Accra on Tuesday, the singer revealed that some people in the industry spread false information about her, leading her songs not to enjoy air play.

‎”I was sabotaged by some individuals because there were two people I met on different occasions who voiced out that in this world, it is good not to listen to people’s words against others because in reality, they might be different when you draw closer to them.”

‎”This is what I was told by two different people which means that somebody bad mouth me and spread false information about me. That explains why my songs don’t receive air play,” she said.

‎Rose Adjei stated that realizing how she was sabotaged and how none of her songs became a hit after her 2013 mega hit “Nyame Ye,” she went on her knees to pray to God.

‎”I prayed to God to seek answers and God gave me the song that I should release, that’s Obeko Me Ko. Now the yoke has been broken, the veil covering my face has been taken off. I have received prophecies that this is my time,” she cried.

‎Rose Adjei had been in the industry for over a decade and has released songs including “M’adansedie,” “Na God” and “Arise And Shine.”

‎She currently released a new track titled “Obeko Me Ko” which came out with its video and is on all digital platforms.
