GPL WK 4: Nsoatreman beat Karela United to secure first top flight win

Date:

In the Ghana Premier League(GPL)  on Sunday, 18-year-old Stephen Diyou scored twice to assist newly promoted Nsoatreman FC defeat Karela United 3-0.

In the seventh minute, Diyou’s first was recorded to frighten the guests.

After 30 minutes of play, Yakubu Mohammed, who connected on a pull-out by Faycal Traore, came dangerously close to doubling the lead for Nsoatreman.

Mohammed scored five minutes later to give the home team a double-digit lead.

Walid Neymar attempted a long shot from distance five minutes into the second half, but it fell just inches short of the target.

On 67, Diyou added the third to put the game out of their opponents’ reach for his individual second.
