GPL Week 29: Sharks record narrow win over Eleven Wonders

Date:

Elmina Sharks beat Eleven Wonders 2-1 at the Nduom Sports Stadium in a Ghana Premier League Week 29 game.

The game saw Benjamin Bernard Boateng score twice in the first five minutes.

First a volley into the top corner then he rounded the goalkeeper to make it 2-0 for Elmina Sharks before half time.

After the recess, Eleven Wonders came out strongly and pulled one back through Abass Ganiu.

Ganiu thought he had scored his second goal when his long range shot looked to have crossed the line after coming off the cross bar.

The referee however missed it and though Eleven Wonders dominated they were unable to score and the game ended 2-1 in favour of Elmina Sharks.
