GPL W3: Kotoko pip Gold Stars at Duns Park

Kumasi Asante Kotoko recorded a slim win over newly promoted side Bibiani Gold Stars in Week 3 of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) .

The GPL game which was played at the Duns Park saw the Porcupine Warriors record a slim 1-0 victory.

The first half saw both teams create few half chances which could not be converted into goals.

The second half started brightly for Kotoko and they scored the all important goal on the 55th minute when Isaac Oppong curled in a beauty.

Kotoko held onto the goal as Gold Stars came forward in search of the winner.

The game ended in favour of Kotoko who have now won their first three matches of the 2021/22 GPL season.
