Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe, a board member of Hearts of Oak, has never shied away from criticizing his beloved club when things go wrong, but he has shown his optimism for the club’s promising future in this article.
The veteran football administrator discussed in an interview with an Accra-based news station how unrecognizable the club will be due to the kind of work ongoing to improve it.
“I can assure you that within the next five years, you will not believe (the improvement), the standard of football alone at Hearts of Oak and its performances within and outside Africa will shock a lot of people,” he said.
He assured fans will be proud of the long-term project the club is currently undertaking.
Hearts recently opened the newly constructed secretariat in place of the former one at the same location, the Asylum Down roundabout, in addition to the Pobiman Complex.
The club is still camping, preparing for the 2024-24 Ghana Premier League season, where they will take on the league’s newcomer, Basake Holy Stars in the opening game at home.
