Accra Hearts of Oak failed to build on their matchday 26 win over Karela United as they suffered an avoidable 2-0 defeat to Legon Cities.
The Phobians kicked off the matchday 27 encounter at Dawu without Glid Otanga, who missed the game through suspension, while Salifu Ibrahim started from the bench.
Legon Cities made a number of incursions into the final third of the visitors in the first half but failed to convert any of their chances, going into the break goalless.
The eventual man of the match winner, Albert Yeboah, bagged a brace after the break courtesy of two unpardonable goalkeeping errors by Hearts of Oak goalie Richard Attah.
The head coach for the Rainbow club, Aboubakar Outtara admitted his side is experiencing problems in the goalkeeping department but also insisted the defense was partly responsible for the team’s shambolic display.
