Jordan Ayew scored the game’s first goal in the 19th minute during a match held at the Vitality Stadium, motivating the Eagles to earn the maximum three points with a deserving 2-0 victory.
In a post-game interview, the Ghanaian striker expressed his happiness at having played the number 9 position.
“That is my favourite position. I keep on changing but the manager decides where he wants to put me. Anywhere he puts me I give my best,” he said after the game.
He added that he is always prepared to give his all for his squad when called upon to participate.
“Yeah, it’s a good thing and a bad thing. At the end of the day I am always positive. I always want to give my best for the team,” Jordan Ayew added.
