The Ghana Celebrity Impact Awards 2024 have officially launched their first edition, and they’re set to be a game-changer.

This prestigious awards scheme aims to recognize and celebrate Ghanaian celebrities and entrepreneurs using their platform to drive positive social change.

With a theme focused on “celebrating those who give back,” the awards aim to spotlight those who have significantly contributed to charitable causes and social advancement.

At the official press launch, organizers provided key details, including the event schedule and the opening of the nomination period, which runs from September 5, 2024, to October 5, 2024.

During this time, individuals and organizations making a positive difference are encouraged to submit nominations. Whether through philanthropy, advocacy, or simply being a role model, these unsung heroes deserve to be celebrated.

  • Male Celebrity of the Year

Screening and Selection Process:

Judging: October 10, 2024 – February 12, 2025

Shortlisted candidates announced, with 60% Academy vote and 40% public vote

Winners announced at the Grand Ball and Awards Ceremony

March 29, 2025: Grand Ball and official launch

April 26, 2025: Ghana Celebrity Impact Summit—Women’s Speaker Conference

May 24, 2025: Main Awards Ceremony

CSR Initiatives:

Ultimate Celebrity of the Year winners will work on CSR projects from June to December 2025, increasing their social influence with sponsor support.

The Ghana Celebrity Impact Awards 2024 promises to be a groundbreaking event, spotlighting the influential role of celebrities and companies in driving meaningful social change.
