#EPL: Liverpool to break bank for Rodrygo

Date:

English giants Liverpool Football Club has identified Brazilian forward Rodrygo of Real Madrid as an ideal replacement for their iconic winger Mohammed Salah.

The Egyptian winger disclosed after Liverpool’s victory over Manchester United early into the 2024-25 Premier League season that he would leave the Merseyside club at the end of the season.

Liverpool will have to break the bank to bring in the Brazilian, whom according to reports in England, they have been obsessed with for years, but the 23-year-old forward still wants to remain with the European champions, Real Madrid.

Rodrygo has been a key cog for the Madrid team, already racking up 57 goals and 43 assists in 225 games, demonstrating an unusual maturity for his age in top-level competitions such as La Liga and the Champions League.
