Former Ghana player Yaw Preko, unlike many other Ghanaians, is not so much enthused with Antoine Semenyo’s Manchester City move.
Semenyo’s move to City was one of the biggest talks in the winter transfer window, as a host of clubs, including Manchester United, Liverpool, and others, fought for his signature.
Reacting to his transfer to the blue side of Manchester, Yaw Preko confessed he’d rather have wanted Semenyo to have joined the prestigious Manchester United.
“I like Semenyo. He plays like me—more direct, running at defenders. He should’ve gone to United. He’ll shine in any team. Don’t be surprised if Guardiola benches him.”
Guardiola is known for being like a child who discards toys when he sees new ones.
Jeremy Doku, according to Yaw Preko, is not out of form and may come in to replace Semenyo after a few games.
