Joseph Badu Boateng, alias “Dada Joe Remix,” is now in the United States of America to face justice, according to the Diplomatic Security Service.
The popular Ghanaian was arrested by the Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) with an assist from the Ghana Police Service.
Dada Joe was indicted on of running a fraud ring that used romance and inheritance schemes to dupe U.S. citizens of their hard-earned money — believed to be around millions of dollars.
The apprehension of Dada Joe and his accomplices is part of the US Justice Department’s aim at stopping online scams, which their people most often fall prey to.
