The United Boxing Coaches Association of Ghana has elected Charles Quartey, the founder and head coach of the Charles Quartey Boxing Foundation, as its new president.
In the elections that took place in Accra today, Thursday, February 15, 2024, he defeated Coach Believer, also known as Rashid Williams, by a score of 52–13.
The Bronx Boxing Gym’s coach Lawrence Carl Lokko was chosen as the first vice president, while Michael Benjamin Addy was chosen as the second.
Black Panthers coach Ebenezer Adjei, also known as Killa, was chosen as the organization’s organizer, and Augustus Dodoo and Gabriel Allotey were chosen as executive members. Ernest Ofori of the Charles Quartey Boxing Foundation was named General Secretary.
