‎Bnoskka expresses hope in Gh comedy

Date:

The creative arts business development and intellectual property (IP) consultant who doubles as a lecturer, Benjamin Oduro Arhin Jnr, known widely as Bnoskka, is optimistic that Ghanaian comedy will fill stadiums.

‎According to him, there will be a time when comedians will charge Gh¢1,000 as a gate fee for a comedy show.

‎Bnoskka expressed his optimism about the future of the Ghana comedy industry through an interview he granted on the Max Morning Show in Accra on Monday.

“I want to see a day where comedians will charge Gh¢1,000 as a gate fee, and I want people to go because that will propel the industry. They should also try to push comedy into two categories: a comedy that will aim at filling the whole stadium,” he said.

‎Bnoskka maintained that comedy was a healing component and underscored the need for Ghanaians to utilise and invest in comedy to foster development in the sector.
