Ghanaian dancers Afronitaa and Abigail have gained the third spot after a grueling finale of the 2024 Britain’s Got Talent show, which was held in the United Kingdom on Sunday, June 2.
The duo put up an electrifying performance in bright Ghanaian-colored attire, coming up in the top three out of the ten finalists.
They danced their way with unique steps, body movement, and synchrony, which has created a significant milestone for the Africans on that global stage.
The 10 finalists included a choir, a magician, and a Japanese skipping group.
Sydnie Christmas took the ultimate prize as the winner, with Jack Rhodes securing the second position while Abigail and Afronitaa gained the third position.
The winner of the 17th series of BGT, Christmas, received a cash prize of £250,000 and the chance to perform at the Royal Variety Performance.
To make the competition transparent, the public was encouraged to vote as it was opened during the live show.
The judges of the ITV show, Simon Cowell, Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden, returned for one last time in this series, alongside hosts Ant and Dec.
