The annual anticipated fixtures between Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko for the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season have been revealed.

The two biggest traditional clubs have won between them countless laurels for nearly two centuries.

Both clubs will be looking to pose serious threats to current champions Medeama SC’s target of retaining their title.

Asante Kotoko have begun their pre-season training with their new South African head coach, Erik Tinkler.

The first meeting of the country’s fiercest rivalry is set for Matchday 13, with Asante Kotoko hosting their arch-rivals between December 4 and 7, 2026.

The return fixture will be staged on Matchday 30, between April 30 and May 3, 2027, when Hearts of Oak welcome the Porcupine Warriors.
