The creative arts business development and intellectual property (IP) consultant who doubles as a lecturer, Benjamin Oduro Arhin Jnr, known widely as Bnoskka, is optimistic that Ghanaian comedy will fill stadiums.
According to him, there will be a time when comedians will charge Gh¢1,000 as a gate fee for a comedy show.
Bnoskka expressed his optimism about the future of the Ghana comedy industry through an interview he granted on the Max Morning Show in Accra on Monday.
“I want to see a day where comedians will charge Gh¢1,000 as a gate fee, and I want people to go because that will propel the industry. They should also try to push comedy into two categories: a comedy that will aim at filling the whole stadium,” he said.
Bnoskka maintained that comedy was a healing component and underscored the need for Ghanaians to utilise and invest in comedy to foster development in the sector.
