Ebo Taylor, a force in West African music has died.
He was 90.
Ebo Taylor was a celebrated guitarist, composer, band leader, and producer.
Throughout his rich musical career, he collaborated with legends such as the late great Fela Kuti.

He worked as an influential producer, crafting recordings for Pat Thomas (his future collaborator) and C.K. Mann, among many others.
The late Taylor was born in Ghana, where he was first introduced to music by his father, a school teacher. He began by learning to play the organ.
He transitioned peacefully after a brief illness.
