MAX TV’S U-23 AFCON UPDATES: Do not politicize Black Meteors’ loss – Nana Darkwa Gyasi

Date:

Nana Darkwa Gyasi, a commentator for the BetPawa Premier League, has urged football stakeholders not to politicize the defeat of the Ghana U23 national team, also known as the Black Meteors, against Morocco. The Black Meteors suffered a heavy 5-1 loss to the Atlas Lions of Morocco at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

Gyasi emphasized that it would be unproductive to blame the administration of Ghana football for the team’s performance and instead suggested that the coaches should be subjected to critical analysis.

He cautioned against using the team’s international performance as a political tool, especially with the upcoming major election in Ghana football.

The seasoned sports journalist believes that the focus should be on evaluating the coaching staff rather than attributing the loss to broader administrative issues.
