Rising Star Africa Promotions, Isaac “Royal Storm” Dogboe’s management company, has urged Ghanaians to support the son of the land as he attempts to return his country to the top of the world boxing rankings.
This Saturday, The Royal Storm takes on Joet Gonzalez in a WBO/WBC Featherweight title eliminator. The winner will go on to face the WBO Featherweight champion and claim the WBO world title.
Following his most recent two losses to Emmanuel Navarette, Dogboe has, as his name suggests, weathered the storm and gotten back in shape with strong performances.
After his last two losses, the former WBO champion won three straight fights to become the current NABF Featherweight title.
If Dogboe prevails on Saturday, he will be in the running to defend his World championship against the WBO featherweight champion.
