Wilfred Dormon, assistant coach at Dreams FC, has admitted his team has performed poorly so far in the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League season, hoping they are able to turn the fortunes of the club.
Dreams FC, a semifinalist at the 2023-24 CAF Confederation Cup campaign, have underwhelmingly underperformed since the start of the season.
The Still Believe boys are 15th on the Ghana Premier League standings with 11 points and have only managed just two wins, five draws, and five defeats.
Speaking to Josiah Okoe Quaye on the Sports Pack show on Max FM, Dormon reckons Dreams FC have now played to the expectation of many after a stellar CAF Confederation campaign.
“In terms of our results and performance, so far we have not been good enough. It doesn’t follow our beliefs and way of doing things. It has been a topsey turvy one… and we have to make sure we push ourselves and turn the fortunes at the end of the first round. It is possible.”
He lamented his side’s inability to score goals after scoring just four goals in twelve games into the season while conceding eight goals.
Dreams FC, ahead of the start of the season, eleven of its talented and trusted players, such as Abdul Aziz and Derrick Attah Agyei leaving the club for bigger and better opportunities outside Ghana.
