Women’s Football: Fenerbahçe S.K. bags Ghanaian star midfielder

The women’s team of Turkish giants Fenerbahçe S.K. has secured the services of Black Queens midfielder Azumah Bugre.

Formerly of Hasaacas Ladies, she joined Fenerbahçe S.K. from Swedish club, IFK Norrköping.

The 23-year-old has shown a massive improvement in her performances with the Swedish side and the Black Queens.

Table-toppers Fenerbahçe S.K. expressed their excitement after signing the Ghanaian international.

“Welcome to our family, Azumah Bugre. Fenerbahce Petrol Ofisi Women’s Football Team has signed Azumah Bugre, who played for Swedish league team FC Norrkoping last season.

The 23-year-old midfielder, a member of the Ghana Women’s National Team, has agreed to a 1.5-year contract with our club. We welcome her to our yellow-navy family and wish her great success in our striped jersey,” their statement on X read.
