Black Stars winger Ernest Nuamah helped Olympique Lyonnaise to a stunning 0-2 away victory over OGC Nice in the French Ligue 1.
The Ghanaian international came off the bench in the 66th minute of the game to score an absolute world-class goal to secure maximum points for the former French champions.
Lyon had struggled to get themselves into the game during the first half, as Nice controlled the possession and created few chances.
Tactical changes by Lyon’s technical team, who were without their manager Paulo Fonseca, brought into the game Ryan Cherki and Ernest Nuamah.
Cherki found the back of the net soon after coming on when Tolisso dispossessed the Nice defenders, trying to play from the back before Almada slid the ball through to the France international for the first goal.
With seven minutes from time, Almada once again found Nuamah with a simple pass. The Ghanaian controlled the ball and then curled it past the opposition goalkeeper to secure a vital win for Lyon.
