Gospel Songstress, Abena Ruthy, has expressed excitement following the enstoolment of Frank Kwabena Owusu, popularly known as Franky 5 as the Guantuahene of Abiriw, Akuapem Traditional Area in the Eastern region.
The Max Morning Live host who was enstooled on Sunday, November 9, is expected to be the consultation chief who would serve as the link between the people of Abiriw and the Chief of the town.
After his enstoolment, Franky 5 has received lots of goodwill messages from well-wishers and stakeholders within the creative art industry.
On her part during a phone interview with Max Morning Show in Accra on Tuesday, Abena Ruthy stated that Franky 5 had contributed a lot to her career and the gospel industry as a whole.
“I was working with Franky 5 in the corporate industry, and I am an example of those who he helped to receive an award in my career. Now that he has been enskined, I pray for God’s favour upon him, and we pray he delivers his mandate judiciously. I want him to know that we are all solidly behind him. Franky 5 has really helped the youth, most especially the gospel musicians,” she stated.
Franky 5’s confirmation would be held on December 22, 2025, and his stool name would be unveiled on that day during the Ohum festival of the people.
