The captain of the Black Stars of Ghana, Jordan Ayew, has assured of the team’s readiness to take on Madagascar in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Following an impressive 1-4 victory over the Central African Republic, Madagascar would face the Black Stars with confidence of maintaining their form.
However, table toppers Black Stars are definitely not ready to give up their spot and are looking for a win over Madagascar.
Jordan Ayew, in a meeting at the team’s hotel in Casablanca, said, “The first stage against Chad has been done; now we have to do the same against Madagascar. The boys are ready, and I am fully confident that we can do it and make Ghana proud and everyone proud.”
A win over Madagascar on Monday, March 21, would cement Ghana’s top spot status in Group I and increase their chances of qualification.
