Tears flow as Omane Boamah’s children eulogise him

Date:

Even Pharaoh’s hardest heart would have softened during Dr. Omane Boamah’s memorial on Thursday evening at Christ the King Parish, as tears and passionate tributes were read.

The three children of the late Defence Minister stood in front of the packed parish to share their memories and love for their father, who perished in a ghastly helicopter crash on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

“Daddy, why did you leave us so soon? Never in a million years would we have imagined this. Who will we call in the middle of the night when we have questions? Who will have the answers? You are irreplaceable, Edwardo,” bravely read one of his daughters.

Their loving father lost his life while en route to honour his service to his country, Ghana, together with another minister, two former ministers, a national security operative, and three military officers.
