Stephen Mukwala has hit incredible form, right in time for the upcoming super clash against their fiercest rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak.
The Ugandan scored the only goal in Asante Kotoko’s all-important victory over Berekum Chelsea on Monday night at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Richmond Lamptey, the captain of Kotoko, dispossessed Fuseini and sent the ball to Isaac Oppong, who squared up Mukwala and scored the game’s lone goal.
This comes after a goal away against Legon Cities in the Ghana Premier League and a brace in the MTN FA Cup round of 64 match against Nations FC.
In his debut season with the Porcupine Warriors, Mukwala scored eleven goals. It appears that he has regained his form just in time to join the league’s top five scorers, which are presently headed by Isaac Mintah of Aduana with nine goals.
Kotoko will be tipped to crush Hearts of Oak despite playing as the away side on their home grounds on Sunday, December 10, 2023.
