Dancehall artist Shatta Wale has disclosed that his rivalry with the dancehall legend, Samini, stemmed from external forces in the industry.
He said there were some people who ignited their feud by pitting them against each other.
Shatta Wale, in a recent media interview, declared that Samini was now his friend and bore no grudge against him.
“The only person they started crashing my head with was Samini. They crashed Samini’s head with my head, and that’s how now Samini is my best friend because I love him so much and owe him a whole lot in my life,” he said.
Shatta Wale further shared his aspirations to show appreciation to Samini in acknowledging the vital role he played in his career.
“I’m praying to God to bless me with more money so that on one of my birthdays, I can buy a big car for him,” he added.
Shatta Wale also expressed concern about some industry players creating unnecessary rivalries among artists and expressed the need for them to stop.
He cited that those players also create tensions between him and Black Sherif, as well as Stonebwoy.
“They clash our heads, and all those things went on and on to Stonebwoy, and now even Black Sherif, who is out there doing well, they are trying to clash our heads, and the system is looking at it,” Wale noted.
The relationship between Shatta Wale and Samini has evolved significantly over the years, as the two were embroiled in one of the most intense feuds in the country’s music history.
