Gospel songstress, Selina Boateng, has finally confirmed that her six-year marriage to Isaac Berchie had hit the rocks.
Her confirmation put to rest months of speculations about her breakup with husband.
Speaking in a recent media interview to respond to the rumors about her marriage, Selina declared that she had divorced her husband for a long time now.
”Yes my husband and I are divorced and I feel no shame about it,” she said.
Being a messenger of the gospel, Selina maintained that though the Bible spoke against divorce, she saw her divorce as a relief and had not faced any societal stigma.
She failed to reveal the actual incident that led to the collapse of her marriage but she advised the youth to study their partners well before marriage.
Selina noted that external influences could dictate choices but they should shun it as that could lead to a marriage which would not last long.
