Multiple-award-winning rapper Sarkodie has urged Kweku Smoke to anticipate an award for the Rapper of the Year in the next Ghana Music Awards.
According to Sarkodie, Kweku Smoke has had an incredible year, and it won’t be surprising if he wins the rapper of the year award in the 2025 VGMA edition.
The rapper endorsed Kweku Smoke for the awards after their electrifying performance at the Kweku Smoke Revival Concert in Accra.
Sarkodie, during a performance with Kweku Smoke with their hit single “Yedin,” crowned Kweku Smoke as the best rapper of the year.
The widely acclaimed “Landlord” of Ghanaian music, Sarkodie made the artiste aware that his impact in 2024 as a rapper was massive, surpassing all other rappers this year, and he deserved to be crowned the rapper of the year.
Kweku Smoke recently held his first headline concert in Accra on December 18, 2024.
The Kweku Smoke Revival Concert featured performances from artistes including Sarkodie, Omar Sterling, Gyakie, the Asakaa Boys, and Beeztrap KOTM.
After the well-sold-out event, he expressed his appreciation to the attendees in an X post for their support and love shown to him.
