With the title Sports Biz, you must expect a cocktail of the very best sports news laced with entertainment, good music and current trends.

Indeed, that is how the maiden edition of Sports Biz kicked off the month of August on Max 89.7 fm.

The lively fast tempo sports music show is hosted by Evans Amewugah who is popularly known for his dexterity as a football commentator.

Sitting in the co – host seat, with poise and grace is Nafisa Fattal an established designer with a passion for sports.

For 60 minutes, there was a blend of local, continental and other music genres arranged by Nana Yaw Takyi aka DJ N.Y.

After the maiden edition,   host Evans Amewugah promised listeners an even better fusion of sound and content in subsequent weeks.

“We know how passionate Ghanaians are when it comes to sports especially football. So when you add music to it and spicy news, it’s  sure to be a hit. We just want Saturday mornings to start with a beautiful bang”.

Starting at 8am, Sports Biz is one of the first radio sports programmes on a Saturday morning.

Nafisa Fattal added that she hopes more ladies would tune in and also contribute via Max FM’s social media handles.

“We are going to get more people involved especially females who have opinions to share but may not always get the opportunity or platform to do so. All I can say is, tune in to Max 89.7 FM every Saturday at 8am for Sports Biz”
