MTN FA Cup: Hearts, Kotoko, Lions advance to round of 32

The round of 64 of the 2024-25 MTN FA Cup saw six Ghana Premier League sides recording stunning victories while others advanced through the skin of their teeth.

Ten-time FA Cup winners of the competition, Hearts of Oak, thrashed the lowly Immigration FC.

The ever-impressive Mawuli Wayo bagged a brace as Martin KariKari and Stephen Appiah Asare scored to secure the Phobians’ passage to the next round.

Albert Amoah continues to be the star man for Asante Kotoko this season, as his superb two goals handed his team a comfortable 2-0 win over Future Stars.

Paa Kwesi Fabin’s Legon Cities were stunned by a lone goal at the University of Ghana Stadium by Division One league side Home Stars FC.

Accra Lions handed Agbozume Weavers FC a football lesson by thrashing them 6-0, while at the Golden City Park in Berekum, Berekum Chelsea smashed Boresa FC 6-0.
