Semenyo Will Be A Big Miss— Iraola

Date:

Andoni Iraola has confessed Antoine Semenyo will be hugely missed by Bournemouth AFC.

The Ghanaian international played his last game for the Cherries against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.

Semenyo enjoyed a fairytale ending to his time with the South Coast club, scoring the winner in a 3-2 home victory.

The Black Stars forward’s career has had a meteoric rise, improving massively since joining from Bristol City in 2022.

Reacting after the game, the manager of Bournemouth, Iraola, admitted the club will miss the Ghanaian as he is set to finalize his move to Manchester City on Thursday.

“He has improved every single season. He has scored 10 goals in half a season and he’s not even a number nine.

“It is not just the numbers but a lot of things – the physicality, the balls in the air and the defensive things. He will be a big miss.”
