Beverly Hills-based Ghanaian Neurosurgeon Donates to GHS

A Beverly Hills-based Ghanaian neurosurgeon, Dr Muri Raifu, has donated specialised spinal equipment to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

Dr Raifu, the CEO of Talamus Health, stressed the equipment is intended to support surgical procedures for people with spinal injuries.

The items donated include spinal instrumentation sets, biologics for fusion, and pedicle screws.

Dr Leslie Issa Adam-Zakariah, Medical Director of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital [Ridge Hospital], expressed gratitude to Dr Raifu.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Adam-Zakariah assured that the equipment would be used for the benefit of patients in need of it.
