Prince Kojo Hilton is a highly talented and versatile Ghanaian artist with expertise in various creative fields such as drawing, painting, special effect makeup, model making, creative concept development, creative design layout, woodwork, and digital media.
He pursued Art Direction and Production Design at the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) and had the opportunity to work under Johnson Edu at the Technical Department of the National Theatre of Ghana, which sparked his interest in filming and cinematography.
Prince Hilton has been actively involved in numerous film productions in Ghana and has also worked on Hollywood films such as “Ocean’s 8,” “Beasts of No Nation,” “Sink or Swim,” “Black Earth Rising,” and more.
In 2019, Prince Hilton launched the Visual Arts Student Empowerment Project (VASEC) with the goal of visiting senior high schools across Ghana. Through this initiative, he aims to expose visual arts and home economics students to various job opportunities and broaden their horizons beyond the basics.
Despite not receiving formal acknowledgment from the government or educational institutions for his work, Prince Hilton remains committed to his selfless journey of empowering young artists. He has already visited over 30 senior high schools and intends to continue expanding his reach to more institutions.
Prince Kojo Hilton’s dedication to his craft and his efforts to empower and inspire young artists in Ghana make him a commendable figure in the art community.
