President John Dramani Mahama, after consultations with the Council of State, has nominated a fresh slate of Ambassadors and High Commissioners to represent Ghana in strategic international missions.
The appointments come through an official statement issued by Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama.
Among the notable nominees are:

Mona Helen Kabuki Quartey, former Minister and economist — designated for Italy

Dr. Kwame Ampofo, energy specialist — nominated to Hungary

Paul Evans Aidoo, veteran politician — headed to Kenya

Magnus Kofi Amoatey, former Deputy Speaker — assigned to the Democratic Republic of the Congo

Atta Kojo Choi, Ghanaian-born naturalised citizen — envoy to South Korea
Other appointees include representatives to Namibia (Alhaji Abdul‑Rahman Harruna), Burkina Faso (Kenneth Akibate), and Saudi Arabia (Said Saleh Sinare)
The president’s directive instructs relevant agencies to initiate constitutionally mandated vetting and confirmation processes for the nominees.
