The leadership of Dansoman Keep Fit Club (DKFC) on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the minister for sports and recreation, Hon. Kofi Adams.

The team was led by the able Vice Chairman Rat Laud Thompson along with Rat Viktor Vanderpuije (secretary), Rat Isaac Yaotey Ako Jr (PRO), and Rat Kamar Lat (men’s organiser).

The visit was to officially welcome the Hon. Minister, introduce the DKFC leadership, and strengthen the club’s long-standing relationship with the ministry.

Discussions included possible Ministry support for the 2026 Great Walk and Accra Marathon, protection of the DKFC grounds, and other infrastructure support.

The minister welcomed the delegation and expressed his commitment to supporting the club and strengthening collaboration.

The dates for the 2026 Great Walk and Accra Marathon will communicated at a later date by the leadership of DKFC.
