Major League Soccer side Inter Miami CF has announced the appointment of Argentine manager Christian Kily Gonzalez as the club’s new manager for the remainder of the current MLS season.

He will officially take over from the outgoing manager Guillermo Hoyos.

Inter Miami has hit a wrong patch, currently going five games without a win in all competitions, in which they lost four and drew one in the process.

The poor form of the club in recent games across every competition is what has necessitated the sudden change of direction in the coaching department by the top hierarchy of the club led by David Beckham.

The current manager Guillermo Hoyos will depart his role immediately after the new gaffer gets his work permit sorted out.

The incoming manager Kily González had stints in the past coaching sides like Rosario Central, Unión de Santa Fe and Platense.
