The Formed Police Unit Headquarters held a one-week memorial service today to honor three officers who lost their lives in a tragic accident last Wednesday.
On March 27, 2024, three gallant officers were responding to an operational call when their vehicle was involved in a fatal collision at Kyekyewere.
The officers were described as dedicated and selfless members of the police force, who had served with distinction.
Their untimely passing has been met with deep sorrow and mourning within the Ghana Police Service community.
During the memorial service, colleagues and superiors paid tribute to the fallen officers, recounting their courage and commitment to their duty.
The service was attended by family members, friends, and members of the public, who came to show their support and condolences.
The Inspector-General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare, expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and pledged the support of the Ghana Police Service.
He assured them that the sacrifices of the officers would not be forgotten.
