Defender Tariq Lamptey of the Black Stars has resumed training following many weeks away due to injury.
In November 2023, while playing for Brighton and Hove Albion against Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League, the Ghanaian international sustained an injury.
Because he wouldn’t have been fit for the tour, coach Chris Hughton decided not to include him in the AFCON team.
Tariq Lamptey has made seven appearances for Brighton in all competitions thus far this 2023–24 season.
