MAX EPL: Guardiola explains why Man City may not beat Arsenal.

Date:

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has given a reason his side might not win their coming games against Arsenal in the Premier League and Sheffield United in the FA Cup.

According to Guardiola, Manchester City are already ‘exhausted’ after the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinal tie in Germany on Wednesday.

City are faced with two crucial fixtures against Sheffield United and Arsenal after beating Bayern Munich 4-1 on aggregate to reach the semi-final on Wednesday.

Guardiola said his team is physically and mentally fatigued after the second leg in Munich.

Manchester City will play Sheffield United in the FA Cup semi-finals on Saturday before facing Arsenal in a crucial Premier League clash on Wednesday.

“We are exhausted,” Guardiola said, adding, “I don’t know how we will recover to play against Sheffield United.” “Now is a tough time for the game on Saturday.”
