Chelsea defeated Fulham for their second league victory of the season thanks to goals from Mykhailo Mudryk and Armando Broja.
Although Mudryk’s time at Stamford Bridge has been uneven since his £89 million January transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk, his first-half performance appeared to be a turning point in his Chelsea career.
In the 18th minute, the Ukrainian handed the opposing team the lead when he used his chest to hold Levi Colwill’s chipped cross and finished under Bernd Leno.
After suffering a significant knee injury, Broja gave Chelsea a two-goal advantage a minute later. Chelsea climbed to the 11th spot in the Premier League.
