Reggae-Dancehall artiste Samini has revealed that M.anifest is the best rapper in Ghana with meaningful and rich Lyrics.
He said his choice was not meant to disrespect other rappers most especially Sarkodie.
In an interview, Samini chose M.anifest over Sarkodie in terms of rap music claiming his lyrics are rich, deep, thoughtful and witty.
“I think he’s a better rapper and he has better lyrics, he has deeper lyrics. No disrespect to Sarkodie, but those two rappers, M.anifest is in a different league,” he stated.
Samini went further to say that his choice between the two rappers had nothing to do with his personal beef which is ongoing with Sarkodie.
It could be recalled that Sarkodie and M.anifest some years ago had engaged in a rap battle for Ghanaians to determine the best rapper among them in Ghana.
The feud began when Sarkodie released his “Bossy” track in which he declared himself the greatest rapper.
However, M.anifest then condemned the claim with a studio tune “god MC,” which contained lyrics that questioned Sarkodie’s claim.
Sarkodie levelled it up with another rap music, “Kanta,” which challenged M.anifest’s rap supremacy as well as his fashion sense.
Meanwhile, the two rappers are widely acknowledged as lyricists and have received various accolades for their contributions in Ghana music.
