Croatia captain Luka Modric is set to undergo a medical at AC Milan after the FIFA Club World Cup, according to reports.
The Croatian, 39, has already announced that he will leave Real Madrid following the conclusion of the revamped tournament in the US.
Despite his upcoming exit, Modric has been included in new boss and former team-mate Xabi Alonso’s Club World Cup squad.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the midfielder has agreed to join AC Milan upon the expiry of his Real Madrid contract.
