We begin with Isagani asking Isay’s father Mr. Nanate. Isay’s hand in marriage.
Mr. Nante narrates how he loves Isay, Isagani tells him he already knows how good Isay is and he will take care of Isay.
Mr. Nante replied that Isagani is the best guy for his daughter, therefore he approves his offer.
They both hug.
At the hospital, Connor kept sending countless messages to Lupita expressing how he love and misses her but Lupita read without a reply.
Roman noticed this and tease Connor saying a girl has rejected him, they both continue their conversation and Roman narrates his past with Pilar and then encourage him not to give up on the person he loves.
Roman starts screaming in pain, the doctor comes and check him.
He later tells Soledad that Roman needs to go under a liver transplant as soon as possible to avoid any unwanted damage.
When she got home, Soledad tells Isagani to do everything in his power because she really need to talk to Lucas.
On the other hand, Connor keeps calling Lupita who eventually picked up the call.
He tells her to help them set a meeting between Soledad and Lucas, she agreed to help and she informs Lucas about it.
Later, Gani drives Soledad to the location where she is supposed to meet Lucas.
Lucas arrives but his decision is still the same, he wants Matteo in exchange for his liver.
Soledad was about to kneel but Lucas stops him and says no matter what she do, she can’t change his mind. He leaves from there.
Later, Gani drops Isay home and he tells him about their meeting with Lucas.
In the mansion, Mrs. Martha and Connor also talk about the same, he later calls Lupita to help him meet with Lucas.
Connor meets up with Lucas to remind him that he is a Cardinal and he has to choose if he what to be part of the problem or the solution.
Matteo recalls his encounter with Soledad in the kitchen yesterday, he decides to end her life so that the boys will fight each other.
His plan is to cripple Soledad and pin the blame Lucas. Then Lucas will be sent to jail and Roman will die since there is no liver Donor.
Then his 3 other brothers will fight each other and he will be the Cardinal emperor.
A sleeping Lucas dreams about her mother’s death, Roman getting shot and how Soledad begged him.
Later in the mansion, my pretty Carolyn begs Soledad not to give up on Lucas despite the fact that he don’t want to help.
Soledad gets a call from Lucas, he tells her to meet her.
Carolyn decides to tag along.
They leave.
Matteo was spying on them; he says Carolyn should better be ready because he might end up in the hospital with Soledad.
Mrs. Martha hears this and she almost break something which alerted Matteo that someone heard him.
He attacks her for spying on him.
Lucas is leaving to meet Soledad; Lupita wants to tag along but Lucas says he is not a child.
Connor gets home and wonders why there is nobody home, he checks the CCTV footage and sees Mrs. Martha with Matteo.
He runs there but upon his arrival, he sees Mrs. Martha tied and helps her.
She tells him Matteo is planning to kill Soledad.
Isagani and Enzo also get the news and decides to go and save their mother.
Soledad and Carolyn arrives at the location.
Matteo comes there and first he hit the driver’s head against the car.
With a knife in his hand, he holds Carolyn hostage and asks Soledad to kneel in front of him.
He then slaps Soledad who refused to kneel.
He later tied both of them in an uncompleted building and they eventually untied themselves and attacks Matteo.
Carolyn runs and Matteo run behind him, she gets out and run into Lucas.
Matteo and Lucas gets into a fight but Matteo runs back to hurt Soledad.
Lorenzo and Gani arrives there and Carolyn tells them what is happening, they ask her to go and look for help.
Matteo comes to Soledad and says he has to kill her before any of her sons gets there.
Lucas comes there and asks him to leave Soledad alone but with his weapon, Matteo dare Lucas to come close to him.
