Koka threatens to unveil a book that will reveal debts of Ohemaa Mercy

Date:

Popular Entertainment Pundit Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu, known in the industry as Koka, confessed that the hug he gave gospel singer Ohemaa Mercy at court following the proceeding was acting.

According to him, his lawyer counseled him to act in that manner to impress the court and witnesses.

Koka revealed this via the Zoom interview on Max Morning Show this Monday.

He stated emphatically that Ohemaa Mercy had failed to pay the GH¢8,000 she owed him and challenged the musician to provide a receipt if she had paid off the debt she owed him.

Koka also threatened to release a book that would unveil all the hidden truth about the debts and the dealings of Ohemaa Mercy.

“Ohemaa Mercy has not paid me my money. There’s a book coming out. The book will unveil everything. She hasn’t even paid a dime. Those who claim she had paid, I think the question journalists should ask is whether she should show the receipt of the payment to prove herself,” he added.

In refuting the payment claims, Koka opined that the hug he gave the “Ote Me Mu” hitmaker at the court was not to set the record straight that Ohemaa Mercy had paid the amount she owed but was compelled by his counsel to do so.

“I was just doing it for the sake of settings. My lawyers advised me to play along, so I did that. It wasn’t from my heart. I did what my lawyer asked me to do, so the picture is fake. It wasn’t me, I was just acting,” he added.

Not long ago, Ohemaa Mercy had reported KOKA to the police, leading to his arrest after the latter allegedly threatened to send thugs after the gospel icon if she did not pay him the amount owed to him.

KOKA claimed he was owed GH¢8,000 and had unsuccessfully recovered the amount, hence his threats against the gospel singer.

In a court session on Thursday, September 26, 2024, KOKA was granted bail of GH¢2,000 with one surety by the Accra Circuit Court.
