JUST IN: Mane Reveals Desired Number of Children with 19-Year-Old Wife

Date:

Senegal football star Sadio Mane has expressed his desire to start a family with his wife, Aisha Tamba, saying he would like to have “three or four” children.

The 32-year-old former Liverpool forward made the revelation in a recent interview, reflecting on their life together since marrying in an Islamic arranged ceremony last year in Dakar, Senegal.

“Funny question,” Mane said when asked about his ideal number of children. “If it is just a choice, I would say three or four. Except that it is God who decides, and I will thank Him no matter what.” He added,

“Whatever the number is, I will accept it. I am leaning more towards three or four, and we will see about the rest.”

The marriage of Mane and Aisha, who was 18 at the time, sparked significant social media attention. Aisha, now 19, moved to Saudi Arabia to join her husband after their wedding.

Mane had met her two years prior.

Aisha, speaking through a relative shortly after the wedding, emphasized that her husband’s fame and fortune would not change her.

“I am looking forward to my new life, and I know that it will be very different,” she told The Mail. “But I do not feel any pressure because Sadio’s fame and money will not change me. This is not what I’m interested in. I will remain a humble person committed to my faith.”

The young bride also spoke about her reserved upbringing and the adjustments that come with being married to a globally recognized footballer.

“I’m not used to having so much attention on me because we are a very private family. We don’t like to show off and speak about our personal lives. I am a very down-to-earth person; this is how I was raised, and nothing will be different just because of this marriage. But I’m very honored to now be Mrs. Mane,” she said.

Mane, who currently plays for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, has continued to capture the spotlight both on and off the pitch, balancing his career and personal life with his faith and future family aspirations.
