Bofoakwa Tano Football Club has announced the sacking of head coach Stephen Frimpong Manso and assistant coach, Mr. Isaac Kofi Sarfo.
Fans might be surprised to hear this news, since Bofoakwa Tano is doing well since being promoted back into the league. After eleven games this season, the team has won three, drawn seven, and lost only one, placing them sixth in the BetPawa League rankings.
In just three games after being appointed at the beginning of the league, Frimpong Manso and his assistant, Kofi Sarfo, defeated Real Tamale United and Accra Hearts of Oak.
“Bofoakwa Tano Football Club has, by mutual agreement, parted ways with the first-team head coach, Mr. Stephen Frimpong Manso, and assistant coach, Mr. Isaac Kofi Sarfo.”
“This decision was made in the utmost interest of the club. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to both coaches for their valuable contributions and dedication to our club. We wish them the very best in their future endeavors. We thank our teeming fans for their continued support and look forward to exciting times ahead,” the club statement read.
