JUST IN: Aduana FC Charged by GFA for Disciplinary Breach After Kotoko Match

Date:

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has charged Aduana Football Club for breaching Section 16 of the GFA Disciplinary Code (2019). This comes after incidents during their recent Ghana Premier League match against Asante Kotoko.

According to the GFA’s statement, Aduana FC is accused of failing to ensure the safety of match officials during the game. Additionally, their supporters allegedly engaged in inappropriate behavior, further contributing to the breach.

The club has been given until Wednesday, November 27, 2024, to formally respond to the charges. Failure to do so could result in disciplinary action as outlined by the GFA’s regulatory framework.

This development underscores the GFA’s commitment to enforcing safety and sportsmanship in Ghanaian football. The football community will be watching closely to see Aduana FC’s response and the subsequent ruling.

The match in question has drawn significant attention due to the alleged misconduct, and stakeholders are urging swift resolution to maintain the integrity of the league.
