Ghana Premier League side, FC Samartex, are on the brink of completing the signing of highly-rated centre-back Roland Atteh Grippman from Golden Kicks after reaching a verbal agreement.
Sources reveal that Grippman will sign a three-year contract with the Timber Giants, with final paperwork to be completed in the coming days. The defender is already en route to Samreboi to finalise the transfer.
Grippman stood out during the 2024/25 season and attracted interest from several top-flight clubs. However, Samartex acted swiftly to secure his signature as they aim to build on last season’s strong performance.
Once completed, the move will bolster Samartex’s defensive unit ahead of the upcoming Ghana Premier League campaign. The club views Grippman as a long-term investment and a vital part of their future plans.
An official announcement is expected soon.
