Medeama SC extended their impressive form in the Ghana Premier League with a commanding 3-1 win over Vision FC on matchday 30 at the TNA Stadium on Friday night.
The Tarkwa-based side got off to a flying start when Kingsley Braye found the back of the net just two minutes into the game. However, the lead was short-lived as Vision FC quickly responded through Daniel Yemoh, who equalized in the 5th minute.
The first half ended with both teams locked at 1-1.
After the break, Medeama regained control of the match. Defender Kamaradini Mamudu, who has been in fine scoring form, netted his third goal in two games to restore the hosts’ lead.
Despite pushing for a comeback, Vision FC couldn’t break through again. Medeama sealed the win late in the game when substitute Abdul Salam scored just minutes before the final whistle.
The victory moves Medeama up to fifth place on the league table with 47 points, while Vision FC sit in 14th position.
